On Monday morning, I'll wake up in Israel!

Feels good to be travelling again, although the added social pressure of being in a city and not necessarily with people who have already seen me all- jungle-ified is worrisome.
Speaking of C.R., Jeff is teaching intro bio at Penn next spring, and Lindsey is TA-ing for him, which is going to be crazy. (Jeff is sort of a jungle man)

Now, a year-in-review meme from the Baron of Mid-Lothian:

January: The 24-hour Theatre Festival!
February: I'm quoted in Kate's newly-edited DP column here.
March: Elise gave me a piece of Chinese candy, and I saved the ridiculous wrapper.
April: the Wit (61% dark, 34% spontaneous, 10% vulgar)
May: actually, I am going to be Beatrice!
June:
July:
Aug: Back in the States, with a killer tan and an awesome little single with a view (although I miss certain kickass roomates already!)
Sept: 15 countries, 6%
Oct: Text of a spam e-mail I got this morning
Nov: I had a discussion with one student before class today.
December: Oh man, this is exciting. And by exciting, I mean AWESOME.

There you have it. I particularly like the lacunae of June & July, followed by August.
Anyways, the next time I post, it will be 2007! Happy early new year, bloggy mcblogblog.

p.s.- Faceadelphia has posts now! Man, we're so cool you could keep a side of meat in us for a month.

p.p.s.- if you want a postcard from the promised land, send me your snailmail address asap. asap!

Title: Pensadores perdidos: El conflicto entre la sabiduria y la selva [lost thinkers: the conflict between knowledge and the jungle]
Pages: 4/8!
sources: 2/4
extra-class sources: 3 (ohh yeah)

halfway done! lost a lot of time because of the funeral this afternoon... clearly that was worth it, but it does mean I'll be here late tonight.
